Cleveland's Joe Smith...Raps?

CLEVELAND -- On the basketball court, he's known for his defense and his consistency. But if you look closely, you'll see Joe Smith also keeps a little rhythm in his step. This Cavs forward moonlights as a musician. Smith said, "It's just been like that my entire life ever since I had a little walkman." Smith sat down with NewsChannel5's Joy Benedict at the House of Blues in Cleveland to show us the method behind the music. "(I) write about basketball, music, love, my love for music," Smith explained. In fact he loves the lyrics so much, Smith now owns his own in-home recording studio, a label, and he just made his debut CD, "Joe Beast: The Beginning."
