I don't think he's going anywhere. LeBron's all about marketing himself to the fullest and becoming the first billionaire athlete and all that. And considering what he's done with his career so far in Cleveland, there is no need for him to go to a major market. The Cavs are one of three teams who can make a competitive best-of-seven series against a Western Conference team and he's already one of the most recognizable figures in the world. Plus, you would have to consider that the Cavs can give him a better long-term deal than any other team in the NBA.
Exactly what Cat said, Im so sick of hearing this shit. Lebron is a HUGE fan of the NBA, not just an NBA player, the dude is a NBA history buff too. He knows his legacy will be greater if he plays for one team and turns this Championship starved city into a basketball town.
He has hosted SNL, got a 90 million dollar shoe contract out of high school, won Olympic Gold, all playing for Cleveland. The only reason he leaves is if we dont put the pieces around him and there is a better opportunity on another team.
Anyone who thinks he goes to NY just because its NY and he will someone be bigger in NY, even though he is already the face of the NBA, is crazy.
