4 in a Row?

Say it ain't so!

First time we've won 4 games in a row since 1994. That's awesome and sad at the same time.

Am I overly excited? Not exactly.

The Browns did just enough to make us look forward to next year. Like they always do. Whether it's a signing of a Czar (Holmgren) or a big signing (Shaun Rogers, Corey Williams) or drafting 'studs' (Joe Thomas and Brady Quinn), they Brownies always have a way of baiting us back. I would prefer they drive around in a dark van and offer us candy, personally.

Anyways, the crowd yesterday when we beat the Jaguars was AWESOME. Clearly Cleveland's hardcore showed up yesterday at the Muni Lot and Cleveland Browns Stadium. What a blast. Crowd (even though it was somewhat empty) was loud, fired up and wanted to see a victory.

The Browns didn't disappoint. Jerome Harrison was sluggish at first, but really got the legs going. Josh Cribbs continues to electrify. Pay him. Thanks. Joe Thomas was laying pancakes like the Waffle House and the crowd was eating them up!

All that being said, we won 5 games this year. Granted we beat the Steelers, which was like a Poor Mans Super Bowl, but then we beat KC, Oakland and now Jacksonville. I'll take wins, don't get me wrong, but I'm not cutting up confetti and uncorking champagne. The Cleveland Browns have a ton of work to do.

That work starts with Holmgren and our 11 draft picks. Stay tuned as we break down some things relating to the draft.

ps: picture is a shot from Muni at roughly 11am yesterday.
